The date: the last Sunday in May 2021. The vibe: New York City just unlocked restriction-free bars. Armed with vaccine cards and a desperate need to socialize, Danny and Zaid both ventured out in the wild.

Enter AJ and Colin--their respective companions who, in a stroke of absolute luck, recognized each other from a past kickball league. Introductions were made. Within minutes, Danny and Zaid already developed an inside joke.
